Mr. Ruslander is the Chief Forensic Investigator for the Palm Beach County Florida Medical Examiners Office. He has over 39 years in the field of Law Enforcement and Public Safety. Mr. Ruslander began his career as a Prince George's County, Maryland police officer in 1969. After retiring, he re-located to West Palm Beach Florida where he became the supervisor for the Lake Worth Police Departments' crime scene unit. He then worked for the Palm Beach Co. Sheriff's Office as a crime scene investigator before becoming the Chief Investigator for the Medical Examiners Office.

Mr. Ruslander has over 5000 hours of specialized training in forensics, a masters degree, is certified by the IAI as a Senior Crime Scene Analyst and a Certified Latent Print Examiner. He is also certified by ABMDI as a registered Medicolegal Death Investigator.

Mr. Ruslander has published over 20 articles in 10 different publications and has taught throughout the United States. He is Florida certified as a training instructor and regularly gives workshops for the IAI, The Taylor Group, Gold Coast Forensics Assn. and the Palm Beach Community College.
